Terms and Conditions of Sale

These terms govern your use of www.variani.com and any purchase made through it. The seller is Variani, 1231 Pacific Blvd., Vancouver, British Columbia, V6Z 0E2, Canada, contactable at info@variani.com or +1 (604) 800-4009.

By placing an order you confirm that you are at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction and that the information you give us is accurate.

Every Variani belt is made by hand from full-grain leather. Because leather is a natural material, grain, colour depth and markings vary from piece to piece, and the item you receive will not be identical to the photograph.

We describe our products as accurately as we can. Screen calibration differs between devices, so colour on your screen is an approximation.

All prices are shown and charged in United States dollars (USD). Prices are subject to change without notice, but a change will never affect an order already accepted.

Prices exclude any import duty, customs charge, tax or handling fee levied by the destination country. Those are the buyer's responsibility, as set out in section 5.

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we accept it and confirm despatch. We may decline any order, and will refund in full if we do.

If an item is listed at an obviously incorrect price or is unexpectedly unavailable, we will contact you before charging or shipping, and you may cancel.

We ship worldwide with tracking, and shipping is free at checkout. Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees, and we are not responsible for delays caused by a carrier, by customs or by circumstances outside our control.

Import duties, taxes and customs handling charges are the buyer's responsibility and are not included in the price. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

Belts are made to order in the size you select. Once a made-to-order item has entered production it cannot be cancelled, and it may be subject to a restocking fee if returned. See the return policy for the full terms.

Returns, exchanges and the warranty against manufacturing defects are governed by the Return, Exchange, Warranty and Chargeback Policy, which forms part of these terms. In summary, a limited 30-day conditional satisfaction guarantee applies from the confirmed delivery date, and the remedy available is an exchange, store credit or refund at Variani's discretion.

Nothing in these terms removes any statutory right you have as a consumer that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details. By paying you agree to Stripe's own terms, and you confirm you are authorised to use the payment method presented.

The Variani name, the Bian Variani maker's mark, the product photography, the written descriptions and the design of this website are owned by Variani. You may not copy, republish or use them commercially without written permission.

You may of course share links to our pages.

You agree not to use the site to break any law, to attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, to interfere with its operation, or to extract its contents by automated means for a competing commercial purpose. Ordinary search engine and AI assistant crawling is welcome, as set out in our robots.txt.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Variani's total liability arising from any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit or opportunity.

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and the courts of British Columbia have jurisdiction. If you buy as a consumer elsewhere, you keep the benefit of any mandatory protection in your own country.

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published on this page at the time you place your order, and the effective date below shows when it last changed.
